With a 15-year career behind him, Stephen Henderson is one of the most experienced players in the Palace changing room.

Signed in summer 2019, Stephen Henderson joined Palace as an experienced shot-stopper having played professional football since 2006.
The 'keeper developed at Aston Villa before making a switch to Bristol City in 2007, where he stayed for four seasons and enjoyed several loan spells to clubs such as Aldershot and Yeovil Town.
Permanent moves to Portsmouth and West Ham United followed before further loans to Ipswich Town and AFC Bournemouth.
Henderson established himself most prominently at fellow south London club Charlton Athletic, for whom he featured in 54 games. From the Addicks, the Irishman joined Nottingham Forest and then a brief loan returns to Portsmouth and Wycombe Wanderers followed before he signed for the Eagles.
Internationally, Henderson has represented his country between Under-16 and Under-21 level. He was an unused substitute for the Republic of Ireland senior side against the Czech Republic in 2012.
Also notably, Henderson is part of a long familial line of talented goalkeepers, with his grandfather, father and two uncles all being former professionals between the sticks.
He played his first match for Palace in a pre-season friendly against Barnet.
